We have a heap of new logos today, here comes the first, Equalizer!

I like it! It displays something related to XMMS2 and the EQ could probably stay on it's own too. Wonder how it would look with cooler colors, say red and black (yes I like red and black).

This is the best one that I have seen to date... I think it has a lot of potential. Good work.

I like the look iconified (16x16) though I fear it may lead people to think it's a mixer app and not a music app.

Identity does matter...

It's vivid and lively, I like that. The colors of the equalizer could be more daring and specific to XMMS2. I don't think the text "XMMS2" is needed at all here, and the gap above the text could be reduced. If the logo had even a bit more power, it could stand on its own, without any text!

I like this logo too, however, the sound level bars look a little like the krecord icon in opensuse.

Dang you heathenx! ;)

I'm a Gnome guy (at the moment) so this 'krecord' you speak of means nothing to me. :)

Ha! You gnome people...just kidding. I use gnome as much as I use kde.

Well, I got to looking at your logo and it strated to remind of me of something. One really nice thing about your logo though is that it renders down really well. You can still tell what it is at 16x16.
