This is the blog of XMMS2's logo competition.
I like it, it works well scaled and is pretty simple to draw on other places. Does it work good in darker colors also?
It seems to work well with all tango colors except the light gray shades. tango red seems to stand out.

Yeah, they're both notes and they're both blue. But IMO this one is much nicer!I don't think the Banshee logo rules out any use of musical notes. Maybe a change in colour here would differentiate it nicely.Then again, you could take this to the Banshee people and suggest they replace theirs with it! :)

Clean logo, nice. I just wonder if it's not "too obvious" or too simple a symbol to be a killer.
Love this logo - its simple and effective - from just a glance you get the idea its about a media player - and that the media player is modernvery nice work
